The Mercyhurst College Dance Team consists of dancers who perform at halftime of the Mercyhurst College men's basketball games.
The squad is also a competitive team. The 2002-03 Dance Team won NDA regionals and also received overall awards for Best Choreography and Theme. They also won the Penn State Behrend competition.
Dance team tryouts are scheduled for May 10, 2008 from noon to 4 p.m. in the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. Practices are two times per week, plus additional practices are added for competition. They also attend an 18-hour competition routine camp held every October at Mercyhurst.
