Syracuse, N.Y. - The Mercyhurst women's cross country team finish fourth out of 10 teams in the Le Moyne College Invitational on Saturday, September 30th.

The Lakers scored 103 points against teams of all levels. Gannon University, the only other GLIAC team at the Invitational, finished first with 60 points.

Finishing first for the Lakers out of 80 runners was Katie Jarocki who finished with a time of 20:31 for second place. Samantha Colvin placed seventh with a time of 20:49. Placing 27th was Amanda Ehrbar with a time of 22:09. Carolyn Franze finsihed 30th at 22:13. With a time of 23:15 Laura McCarthy finished 46th.

Other individuals that competed for Mercyhurst were Sara Rex with a time of 23:33 for 50th place, Allison Babcock ran a 23:39 for 55th place, Nicole Lesnick and Jessica Pachlhofer finished two seconds apart at 23:44 and 23:46 respectively for 57th and 58th place. Stephanie Wilkens ran a 26:19 for 68th place and Emily Donovan ran 27:59 for 72nd place.

SUNY Cobleskill placed first with a time of 20:08.

The Lakers continue their season next week at the Gannon Invitational on Saturday, October 7th.
