Erie, Pa. - Gannon defeated Mercyhurst at the annual Race in the Park in Frontier Park today. Gannon finished with 26 points, while the Lakers finished with 33.

Senior Beth Kenniston finished in first place overall with a time of 20:09, while sophomore Victoria Caruso finished in second just six seconds later. Complete results are as follows:
