Loudonville, N.Y. - Mercyhurst finished 0-1-1 on the first day of the Siena Invitational. In the first game, Mercyhurst and the host team played to a 12-12 stalemate in a game called because of time constraints. Marist then handed the Lakers a 12-5 setback in the later game. Mercyhurst is now 8-6-1 overall.

In the second game of the day, Marist led Mercyhurst 6-2 after one quarter and never looked back as the Red Foxes defeated Mercyhurst 12-5. Mercyhurst will play Queens College (N.Y.) tomorrow at 12:00pm.
