NORTH EAST, Pa. - Mercyhurst scored twice in the second period, but Indiana held the Lakers without a score in any other period and used a six-goal fourth period to pull away for a 14-2 win.

Trailing 4-0 in the second quarter, Carrie Willison and Rhonda Marable scored back-to-back goals to cut it to a two-goal game. The Hoosiers, however, added one more goal just before the half, then outscored Mercyhurst 9-0 in the second half.

Willison also had one assist, a steal and a pair of drawn ejections. Marable added three steals and a drawn ejection. Christine Somera had one assist, a pair of steals and two drawn ejections.

Gina Meiras made six saves.

The Lakers will look to rebound quickly with a 4:00 p.m. contest at Slippery Rock.
