Lakers Drop Sixth Straight Against Ashland Eagles, 3-0

Erie, Pa. - Mercyhurst dropped its sixth conference match in a row against Ashland on Saturday at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center, 30-22, 30-14, 30-22. The Lakers are now 6-10 overall and 1-7 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). The Eagles are now 10-6 overall and 4-3 in the GLIAC.

The Lakers were led by Kristin Peterson with nine kills and 12 digs. Jenna Matson also had nine kills, one ace, and ten digs. Julia Butler had 33 assists in the match.

Mary Kate Glowe had 24 kills, two aces, and 29 digs for the Eagles. Marina Santos had ten kills, three aces, and 24 digs.

Up next for the Lakers are conference matches at Ferris State on Friday and Grand Valley State on Saturday.
