Fort Myers, Fla. - Mercyhurst rallied from a 2-0 deficit to score twice in the top of the sixth but Palm Beach Atlantic pushed across the winning run in the bottom of the sixth to defeat the Lakers 3-2 Friday.

Palm Beach Atlantic scored a run in the first and another in the fourth for a 2-0 lead before Mercyhurst made its push. Danielle Zubek had a pinch hit two-RBI single in the top of the sixth to knot the score. Palm Beach Atlantic led off the bottom of the sixth with a solo homer that gave the Sailfish the win.

Erin Ratajczak went 3-for-3 on the day - the only Mercyhurst player to finish with more than one hit. Kim Griffin pitched the first three innings, giving up two runs on four hits, while Lisa Nazarenko picked up the loss after allowing just two hits and one run over the final three innings.

Mercyhurst falls to 4-6 on the year and will play CW Post and Florida Gulf Coast Saturday in Fort Myers, Fla. to complete its spring break trip.
