Lakers Split Two Games On Day Two Of Gene Cusic Tournament
Feb. 25, 2008 Fort Myers, Fla. - Freshman Amanda Norman picked up her first win on the mound as Mercyhurst defeated Alma 3-2 in the first of two games Monday in the Gene Cusic Tournament. The Lakers lost to Concordia St. Paul in game two 14-6. With the win over Alma, Mercyhurst head coach Sara Headley got her 77th career win, making her the winningest coach in program history. Now 1-3 on the season, Mercyhurst will play Alma at 9 a.m. Tuesday and Concordia St. Paul at 11 a.m. on day three of the Gene Cusic Tournament. |
