Following a stellar career at Mercyhurst, Jen Feret returns as an assistant coach with the Lakers for the 2007-08 school year.

She had one of the best individual seasons in program history as a senior in 2007 both with the bat and on the mound. She ranked fifth in the country with 16 home runs and was also among the national leaders in ERA and strikeouts. Feret was a Louisville Slugger/NFCA First Team All-Great Lakes Region selection, a Daktronics All-Great Lakes Region choice, and an ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Second Team selection.

Feret was named GLIAC Second Team all-conference as a freshman and sophomore, honorable mention as a junior, and first team as a senior.
