Erie, Pa. - The Mercyhurst Lakers women's soccer team moved up two spots from sixth to fourth in the NSCAA Division II regional poll for 2007 released on Oct. 17th.

Mercyhurst is ranked fourth with its 11-3-1 overall record behind No. 1 Grand Valley State (14-0-0), Southern Illinois-Edwardsville University (10-3-1), and Quincy (11-4-1).

The NSCAA poll has no bearing on postseason qualification. The top six teams in the region according to the NCAA Division II rankings will advance to the NCAA Playoffs.
