In the second half, junior Sarah Powell found the back of the net in the 74th minute when she maneuvered around multiple Ashland defenders. Four minutes later, Powell would assist on the Lakers third goal when she found Mercyhurst midfielder Karla Vogt streaking across the penalty box.
