Elkhart, Ind. - The Mercyhurst Rowing Team concluded its fall season at The Head of Elk in Elkhart, Indiana. Forty-eight teams containing some of the top crews in the country competed over the 2.5-mile course.

All the Mercyhurst boats competed well, passing crews ahead of them during the 2.5 mile time trial. At the end of an almost perfect day when the boats were de-rigged and the trailer loaded, all that remained was for the results to be announced. A glitch in the timing system caused the results that had been posted to be wrong and they were withdrawn. Officials announced that all the results would be tabulated manually and would be posted on Wednesday.

"All we can do now is wait and hope that the results they finally do post are accurate", said head coach Adrian Spracklen, "but ultimately we will never really know." No matter what the results, the Lakers felt they raced well and hopefully the results will support that.
