Elkhart, Ind. - More than 1,500 rowers will be in Elkhart, Ind. Sunday for the 10th annual Head of the Elk Regatta.

The regatta races will start at 9 a.m. at Martin's Landing on East Jackson Boulevard and will feature 39 events of single-, two-, four- and eight-man races of college and high school students.

Races will start about every 10 to 15 minutes, with 400 boats taking part.

The event will include colleges ranging from West Virginia to Minnesota and high schools from the Indianapolis, Toledo, Detroit and Chicago areas.
