INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Mercyhurst College women's rowing team tied for third in the preseason Division II poll by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association/USRowing poll.

Western Washington earned all five first-place votes to claim the top spot. The Lakers finished second to Western Washington at last year's NCAA Championships.

The first regular season poll will be released on March 29.

Mercyhurst starts the spring with a trip to the Knecht Cup on April 8 & 9 in Camden, N.J.
