Rochester, N.Y. - The Lakers opened their fall season at the Stonehurst Capital Invitational Regatta in Rochester, N.Y. The event is comprised of a 3.1-mile time trial in the morning followed by a 1500 meter sprint in the afternoon.

In the women's division the women finished 17th of 31 and 10th in the collegiate category at 35.57.62. Overall champion was Western Ontario of Canada in 32:18.19.

Mercyhurst will compete at the Head of the Charles (Boston) in two weeks.
