FINDLEY LAKE, N.Y. - The women's varsity four defeated Dowling at the East Regional Invitational, then finished second in the Findley Fours Challenge.

The Lakers turned in an 8:24.11 to easily beat Dowling's 8:53.56. In the varsity eight, Mercyhurst finished second with a 7:24.75. Dowling won the event in 7:00.75 and Franklin Pierce was third in 7:55.6.

After the completion of the East Regional Invitational, the three schools participated in the Findley Fours Challenge. Franklin Pierce took first in 8:14.3, Mercyhurst was second in 8:33.7 and Dowling was third with an 8:55.5.

The women compete again on May 5 at the Mid-America Collegiate Rowing Association Regatta in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
