Erie, Pa. - Mercyhurst College will be hosting the fourth annual Lake Erie Shootout in Erie, Pa. on Sunday, October 28th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

"The team is looking forward to the final installment of a very successful fall ball thus far," Head Coach Cecil Pilson said. "The team has come a long way since the beginning of fall ball and I am excited to see how well we do against our peers."

This year the shootout boasts two 2007 nationally ranked NCAA Division II opponents including the 2007 national semifinalists in Lock Haven University, ranked No. 5 a year ago. Gannon University, ranked No. 6 in 2007, and the NAIA's Notre Dame College (Ohio) Falcons will also compete.

1:00 p.m. - Gannon vs. Lock Haven
2:00 p.m. - Mercyhurst vs. Notre Dame (Ohio)
3:00 p.m. - Mercyhurst vs. Lock Haven
