Baltimore, Md. - Mercyhurst College sophomore Breanna Haggerty was named a second team All-American by Inside Lacrosse. The sophomore attacker was one of 16 players named to the second team.

Haggerty had 42 goals, 16 assists and 58 points in 12 games this year, leading the Lakers to a 7-5 record. Her goal total was the fourth most in program history and her point total was the sixth highest. She scored at least one goal in every game this year and scored multiple goals in 11 of 12 contests. After two years, she already ranks seventh in school history in career goals with 95 and fourth in career points with 144.

Earlier this year, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) named Haggerty second team All-Region for the second consecutive season. She scored a season-high eight points twice, posting four goals and four assists against Seton Hill and seven goals in an assist against Presbyterian.
