Ravensburg, Germany - Five members of the Mercyhurst women's hockey team will represent Team Canada's Under-22 team this week at the 2008 European Air Canada Cup in Ravensburg, Germany. The tournament runs from Wednesday, Jan. 2 through Sunday, Jan. 6.

Senior goaltender Laura Hosier, senior forward Stephanie Jones, junior forward Valerie Chouinard, sophomore forward Meghan Agosta and freshman forward Jesse Scanzano will all look to help Canada win its sixth consecutive tournament title.

Canada's first opponent will be Russia on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Mercyhurst, ranked No. 5 in USCHO and No. 6 in USA Today polls, will commence the second part of its season on Jan. 12-13 at Providence.
