Minneapolis, Minn. - The Mercyhurst women's hockey team remained seventh in the latest USCHO.com poll, released earlier today. Every team stayed in their spot except for Wayne State, who moved up to 10th.

The Warriors are making their first appearance in the rankings in the team's nine-year history. The Lakers fell to WSU last Friday, 3-2 in overtime and tied the Warriors the following afternoon, 2-2 in overtime.

Mercyhurst will conclude its eight-game home stand with a matchup against CHA-rival Niagara Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and 2 p.m., respectively. The Purple Eagles split last weekend at Robert Morris. The win on Saturday snapped a 17-game winless streak (0-15-2).
