Sara concluded her first year as volunteer assistant coach.

After Mercyhurst: Played professional hockey for the Oakville Ice of the NWHL in 2006-07 and in Switzerland in 2005-06.

Mercyhurst Highlights: Named to CHA Conference All-Tournament team and First Team All-CHA, member of CHA All-Academic team and Division I All-American ... assistant captain senior year and Under-22 USA National Team for two years.

2004-05: Played in 33 games .... fifth on the team in goals (11), fourth in assists (15), fourth in points (26), tied for third in power play goals (5), tied for first in short-handed goals (2) ... named to CHA Conference All-Tournament Team.

2003-04: Played in all 36 games ... recorded eight goals and eleven assists for 19 points ... three multiple-point games ... tied for first in game-winning goals with four and had the only short-handed goal on the team ... scored game-winning goal for second straight year in CHA Championship game ... had a scoring streak of four from early November to mid-November ... tied for fourth in the conference in goals, tied for seventh in points, and finished first in bot hgame-winning and short-handed goals ... member of CHA All-Academic Team.

2002-03: Played in all 34 games ... led team with 16 goals and also had ten assists for 26 points ... 26 points tied for team lead ... chosen CHA Offensive Player of the Week February 11 ... named to All-Academic Team and First Team All-CHA ... named Division I Academic All-American ... member of Alpha Phi Sigma.

2001-02: Played in all 33 games ... led team in goals (18) and points (30) ... tied for first in game-winning goals (4), second in power play goals (4), fourth in assists (12) ... eight multiple-point games ... four-point game came against Wayne State (2g, 2a) and Brown (3g, 1a) ... only hat trick on the team ... had two-or-more points in three of last four games ... had only two points in first seven games (1g, 1a) and five points in first 13 games (3g, 2a) ... had seven game scoring streak (8g, 7a) to end season ... First Team All-GLWHA ... named to US Under-22 Team in July.

High School: Played basketball freshman and sophomore years ... played softball all four years and was captain ... ran track freshman year and sophomore years ... played ice hockey all four years ... named Athlete of the Month ... received Coaches' Award ... leading scorer for the Culver Eagles.
