After tying with Wayne State for the regular season title, the Lakers won their 6th straight College Hockey America Playoffs with a 2-1 overtime win over the Warriors on March 8 at Niagara University. The Lakers finished the season with an overall record of 26-8-3 and a No. 7 national ranking.]]></description>
