Lauren MacEllven and Alicia Guzzo scored three goals apiece as Mercyhurst defeated St. Vincent's by a score of 9-0.

Mercyhurst scored five goals in the first half. MacEllven scored the first two Mercyhurst goals. Guzzo also scored a pair of goals in the first half, and Courtney Monin added one. Katie King assisted on Guzzo's first goal.

In the second half, the Lakers got goals from MacEllven, Guzzo, Misty Dennis and Erin Kelleher. Haley Brochu and Megan Smaling had assists.

The Lakers' three goalies split time in cage. Julie Smith started and played the first 5:56. Jen Macri took over and played the remainder of the half, making one save. Jennifer Coleman played the second half, making one save.

The win concluded the Mercyhurst season. The Lakers finished the 2005 campaign with a record of 9-11, winning four in a row.
