Philadelphia, Pa. - The Lakers defeated C.W. Post 1-0 behind a goal by junior defender Vanessa Mourey. The goal was assisted by senior middler Misty Dennis.

Mourey's goal came with just under eight minutes to play in the game.

Junior goalkeeper Julie Smith started in goal for the Lakers and made two saves.

The teams were even across the board on the stat sheet, as both CWP (4-5) and Mercyhurst posted eleven shots and nine penalty corners on the afternoon. It wasn't until Mourey's conversion off a pass from Dennis that the scoreless deadlock was broken.
