ERIE, Pa. - Both the Mercyhurst men's and women's cross country teams have been named All-Academic Teams by the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA).

Teams must post a GPA of 3.0 or higher and participate in an NCAA Regional Championship to be eligible for the All-Academic Team award.

In Division II, a total of 96 women's programs and 60 men's programs earned USTFCCCA recognition.

The Laker men defeated rival Gannon in their dual, with the women narrowly falling to their rivals. The men were 12th at the GLIAC Championships and 21st at the NCAA Regional. The women finished 13th in the conference and 23rd in the region.
