Rochester, N.Y. - Mercyhurst took seventh place of eleven teams at the annual Harry F. Anderson Invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan College. Matt Deragon's time of 27:00.6 placed him ninth among 151 runners.

Rochester Institute of Technology won the event with a team score of 40. The Lakers finished with 135 points.

Deragon received an award for being one of the top 15 runners. Mercyhurst will rest until October 22 when it competes at the GLIAC Championships at Northern Michigan.
