New Wilmington, Pa. - Mercyhurst opened its season with a 4th place finish at the 9-team Westminster Invitational Saturday. Matt Deragon (7th) and Mike Humphrey (16th) were the top runners over the 5-mile course.

Walsh University won the event with 34 points.
