Edwardsville, Ill. - The Mercyhurst College Men's cross country team finished 16th with 415 points in a 19-team field at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Saturday, Nov. 6. Grand Valley State won the event with 65 points and three runners in the top-20. The Lakers' top finisher, senior Leif Schmidt (Deerfield, N.Y.) was 59th in the 127-person field with a time of 34:34.64 on the 10-kilometer course.
