Slippery Rock, Pa. - The Mercyhurst College men's cross country squad finished third in a tough eight-team field at the Slippery Rock Invitational Saturday, Oct. 9.

Indiana University of Pennsylvania won the event with 35 points, Slippery Rock was third with 61. The Lakers followed in third with 72 points.
