Erie, Pa. - The Mercyhurst wrestling team will begin the Mike Wehler era on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 1 p.m., with the annual Blue/Green Dual Meet at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center.

The meet will feature intrasquad action, pitting Mercyhurst wrestlers against each other. It will serve partly as the team's final wrestle-off before determining a starting lineup for the season-opening Avalon Duals at Edinboro on Saturday, Nov. 3.

Fans are encouraged to attend the Blue/Green Dual Meet and there is no charge for admission.

The Lakers return All-American Andy Lamancusa (157) and NCAA Division II East Region Champions Payne Lint (125) and Don Cummings (149) to the squad. They will face stiff competition at the Avalon Duals, as they take on Division I programs Edinboro, Maryland and Army.
