Senior Zack Schafer also lost, dropping a 7-2 decision to Jeremiah Naig. Junior Don Cummings lost a 15-4 match to Todd Meneely and freshman Andy Lamancusa was beaten by Jason Leavitt 8-3. In the consolation bracket, Payne Lint was eliminated from the tournament with a 7-3 loss to Devlon Webb and Hudson Harrison was also knocked out after a 16-2 loss to Blake Peterson.
