2007-08: Moved into the lineup at 149 early and never relinquished the spot, posting a 34-9 record to set a new school mark for wins in a season...Won the East Region Championship in his first-ever appearance at the event and qualified for the NCAA Championships...Entered nationals at the No. 3-ranked wrestler in Division II...Led the team with 10 pins...Posted an 18-4 dual record and a 16-5 tournament record...Opened the season with wins against Division I opponents from Army and Edinboro...Placed first at the Simonson Invitational and third at the National Catholic Invitational...Posted a 24-3 record against Division II opponents and had won 22-straight entering nationals...Posted a 3-0 record against nationally-ranked opponents and defeated top-ranked and two-time national champion Todd Meneely of Nebraska Omaha by an 11-3 major decision on Jan. 12.
