Slippery Rock, Pa. - The Mercyhurst men's water polo team was defeated by Slippery Rock today, 13-6. Mercyhurst dropped to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the CWPA.

Mercyhurst: 1-1-2-2=6
Slippery Rock: 3-2-1-7=13

Mercyhurst goalie: Patrick Staab played the entire game and made nine saves.

Mercyhurst will be apart of the Erie Invitational on Friday and Saturday, September 23 and 24. The invitational will be held at Gannon University.
