Columbus, Ohio - Six Mercyhurst players are among 87 recognized by the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) in being named to the MIVA Academic All-Conference Team. To be eligible for MIVA Academic All-Conference, athletes must have achieved a career 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale after the completion of the fall semester at their respective institutions.

The six Lakers are:
Jeff Hartman, David Hatten, Brady Hunter, Kyle Miller, Bryan Ritter, and Tim Wagner.

Mercyhurst will open the MIVA playoffs Saturday, April 22, with a quarterfinal match at Ball State.
