Fort Wayne, Ind. - Mercyhurst fell to Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) in three, 30-22, 30-14, 30-21. Mercyhurst fell to 2-15 overall and 1-8 in the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA). IPFW improved to 15-5 overall and 7-2 in the MIVA.

The Lakers were led by freshman Chad Proudman with eight kills and nine points. Senior Nate Keegan and junior Mike Palaschak each had seven kills and 7.5 points a piece. Mike Palaschak was 7-of-11 on the attack (.636 hitting percentage). Senior setter Dan Kick had 24 assists.

The Mastodons were led by C.J. Macias and Serdar Sikca with ten kills a piece and 14.5 points and 13.0 points respectively. Colin Lundeen had 36 assists.

Up next for the Lakers is a five game home stretch beginning on Tuesday, March 28 at 7:00 pm at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center.
