Lakers Lose In Three To Clarke

Dubuque, Iowa - The Mercyhurst men's volleyball team got a strong performance from senior Mike Palaschak but the Lakers lost to Clarke College 30-26, 30-22, 30-26 Saturday. Mercyhurst fell to 1-13 on the year despite 10 kills, three blocks and an ace from Palaschak. Clarke improved to 8-9 on the season. The Lakers also got nine kills from Marcus Dos Santos and Tim Wagner, while David Hatten dished out 30 assists. Jordan Pierson had a team-high five digs. Mercyhurst will play MIVA opponent Quincy Sunday at 3 p.m. The Lakers lost to Quincy in three games Friday evening. |
