Buffalo, N.Y. - Tim Wagner had 13 kills and nine digs but the Mercyhurst men's volleyball team fell to 0-7 on the season with a 30-19, 30-26, 30-26 loss to D'Youville Friday.

D'Youville hit for a .375 team percentage in the opening game and cruised to the victory. The Lakers did a better job after that point, holding D'Youville to .217 in game two and .178 in game three, but the Lakers were unable to pull out either game.

As a team, Mercyhurst had 9.5 blocks, led by four each from Joe Montroy, Dave Newman and Bryan Ritter. Newman also finished with nine kills and a service ace.

Mercyhurst, now 0-7, will host Lewis in the first of four consecutive home matches Friday in MIVA volleyball action at 7:00 p.m.
