Erie, Pa. - Mercyhurst tennis coach Neil Leroy has named Kyle King and Mijo Cotic team captains for the 2007-08 season.

Cotic split time between No. 3 and No. 4 singles a year ago as a freshman, finishing with a record of 8-10. He was also 8-11 in doubles, picking up most of his match play at the No. 2 spot.

King went 10-12 a year ago, playing mostly No. 5 and No. 6 singles. He was also 12-12 in doubles play, splitting time at No. 2 and No. 3.

Mercyhurst went 14-8 a year ago and finished 5-2 in GLIAC play. The Lakers advanced to the NCAA Division II Regional Tournament, losing to Wayne State 5-4 in the opening round.
