Hilton Head, S.C. - The Mercyhurst men's tennis team pushed its Spring Break record to 2-0, dominating Adrian Monday in an 8-1 victory. The only Laker loss came in a forfeit at No. 6 singles.

Mercyhurst dropped only four games over the course of the first five singles matches as Mariano Fava routed Mike Douglas 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 1 spot. Kyle King blanked his opponent at No. 5, while Lee Michael Marnik and Mijo Cotic lost just one game each. Mateusz Przbysz also had an easy time with his opponent, winning 6-0, 6-2.

In doubles action, Fava and Marnik swept to an 8-0 win. Cotic and Przbysz won 8-2 at No. 2 and King and Ronald Heurich won 8-1 at No. 3.

Mercyhurst, now 5-2 on the year, plays Augustana at 6 p.m. Monday evening before a noon match with St. John's Tuesday.
