Coach White enters his fifth season at Mercyhurst College in 2007, assisting in both the men's and women's programs. Since beginning his work with the Lakers, Mercyhurst's soccer teams have excelled on the field.

In 2003, he assisted the men's program to a ranking as high as No. 3 in the country, finishing with a 15-3-1 mark. He also assisted the women's team to a 10-5-2 record that same year.

Since that time, coach White has played a big part in the improvement of the women's program. The team had a three-win increase in 2004 to get to 13-6-1 and increased its win total again in 2005, ending at 15-5. In 2006, Mercyhurst went 16-4 and reached the NCAA Regional Tournament, being ranked in the Top 25 for much of the year.

Coach White came to Mercyhurst from the South Jersey Barons of the Professional Development League (PDL). He played college soccer for Gannon University and graduated with a degree in adverstising/communications. After graduation, coach White developed an extensive background as a coach at the youth, state and regional levels, currently holding a NSCAA National Soccer License.

Originally from Scotland, coach White will assume major coaching responsibilities for the women's program in 2006, while assisting with the men's team.
