Lakers Get Rematch With Le Moyne For Title

The Mercyhurst men's lacrosse team will play Le Moyne for the second time this year when the Lakers and Dolphins square off for the Division II National Championship Sunday at 4:30 p.m. The game will be played at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Mary. and will be shown live on CSTV.

Ranked No. 1 in the country, Mercyhurst's only loss came in an 8-7 overtime loss to Le Moyne early in the season. Since that time, the Lakers have strung together a school-record tying 10 consecutive victories and are 13-1 entering the title tilt. Le Moyne, the No. 2 team in the country, enters the contest at 14-2 and has also won 10 in a row since losses to Bryant and Merrimack early in the year.
