Mercyhurst Falls 10-7 to Dowling
March 22, 2008 Oakdale, N.Y. - The No. 10 Mercyhurst Laker men's lacrosse team lost momentum in the second half and suffered a 10-7 loss Saturday to the No. 5 Dowling Golden Lions. The score was tied at four going into the final two periods of play, but the Lions scored four goals in the third period to pull ahead 8-6 and never relinquished the lead. Mercyhurst falls to 2-3 overall and 0-2 in the East Coast Conference. Dowling improves to 7-1 and is now 1-0 in conference play. Mercyhurst will travel to Dominican (N.Y.) next Saturday.
