Allendale, Mich. - Mercyhurst finished 10th of 20 teams at the two-day Great Lakes Regional hosted by Grand Valley State University. The Lakers ended with a total of 601, 20 strokes behind the winning effort of Saginaw Valley State.

Junior Craig Bishop and sophomore Kyle Waddell led the way for the Lakers, each firing a pair of 73s for two-round score of 146 and a tie for 13th place. 100 golfers competed.

Mercyhurst started Monday's final round in 15th place, but whittled 13 strokes of its Sunday score of 307 to move up five places in the standings.
