Clarion, Pa. - Mercyhurst College is tied for 9th following the opening day of the 18-team Clarion Invitational being held at Clarion Oaks. Junior Craig Bishop shot the best opening round for the Lakers, firing an even par 72 over the 7,085 yard course.
