Erie, Pa. - The Mercyhurst College men's golf team finished fourth in the four-team field at the Mercyhurst Invitational today, April 26. Craig Bishop was the top player for the Lakers, tying for third with a 77 on the par-72 course at the Lakeview Country Club in North East, Pa. Allegheny's Ben Rathfon won the event with a 74.

Mercyhurst fired a 326 as a team, 16 strokes behind the winner, Allegheny College. Wayne State was second with 314 and Gannon was third with 317.

Adam Layden tied for 13th with an 81, Kyle Waddell posted an 83, followed by Brendan Flood's 85. Steven Barr rounded out the Mercyhurst scoring with an 88.
