Harborcreek, Pa. - The Mercyhurst men's golf team shot a 303 and finished 11 strokes behind Gannon at the Gannon Invitational at Downing Golf Course Friday. Kyle Waddell shot a 1-under 71 to lead the Lakers in the final event of the year.

Waddell shot a 35 on the front nine and a 36 on the back nine to place second individually. Tyler Bidwell and Steve Barr each shot a 77 and Ryan McNulty finished with a 78 for Mercyhurst. Derek Fisher finished with an 80.

Among individual scores not related to the team score, Mercyhurst's Ben Deets shot a 76 and Patrick Jackson had an 81. Darragh Agnew posted an 82 for the Lakers.
