ERIE, Pa. - Brendan Flood outlasted teammate Kyle Waddell and Findlay's Chris Bussell in a playoff to win the individual crown and Mercyhurst edged the Oilers by just one stroke to take the individual title at the Gannon Spring Invitational.

Flood turned in a one-over par 73 to tie Waddell and Bussell through 18 holes, before emerging in a playoff.

The Lakers turned in a team score of 305, just a single shot lower than Findlay, who was forced to settle for second. Gannon came in third with a 317 and Wayne State tallied a 324.

The Laker 'B' team shot a 337 for fifth place, followed by the Gannon 'B' squad with 338.

Waddell tied for second with Bussell. Sal Vella shot a 79 to tie for ninth and Steve Barr turned in an 80, tying for 13th.
