The Mercyhurst men's golf team finished in ninth place in the Ted Barclay Spring Invitational hosted by Denison University after shooting a 317 on day one and 320 on day two. Tyler Bidwell led the Lakers with a combined nine over par (151) in the two day invitational, finishing tied for 13th overall in the individual competition.

After both days in the team competition, Otterbein College finished in first place after shooting a combined 594, followed by Mount Union College (598), Denison University (602), and Olivet College (606).

Kyle Waddell was the Lakers' second best finisher, tying for 36th overall, with an 80 on day one and a 78 on day two. Following Waddell in the individual competition for the Lakers was Steve Barr (T55), Patrick Jackson (T57), and Ben Deets (60). Competing unattached, Matt Mahoney tied for 57th with Jackson and Darragh Agnew finished 72nd.

The Lakers will compete next weekend in the Findlay Invitational.
