Mercyhurst hosts Northern Michigan in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest at Tullio Field in the Lakers' final home game of the 2006 season. The game will be aired locally on WMCE-FM, and will also be streamed over the internet at WMCE's website.

The Lakers are coming off a 40-21 loss at Hillsdale that featured several impressive performances. Richard Stokes rushed for 129 and a touchdown to lead the offense. Craig Moone paced the defense with a career-best 12 stops, while Jimmy Kokrak added 11.

Northern Michigan is Mercyhurst's least played opponent in the GLIAC. The team's have split their four meetings, with the home team winning each contest.

Kickoff is set for 1:30 PM.
