Mercyhurst stays on the road this week as the Lakers travel No. 1 Grand Valley State for a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest.

Mercyhurst will be looking for its first win in the series. Grand Valley has won all six of the previous meetings. The two teams last played in 2003 before rotating off one another's conference schedules.

It will also mark just the second time in program history that Mercyhurst plays a team ranked No. 1. The other time was when Grand Valley visited Tullio Field and took away a 62-24 win in 2002.
